St. Thomas' Episcopal Church
We are a welcoming community of faith and love that serves one another and seeks to draw others to God through our ministries.

Welcome
We are a parish of the Episcopal Diocese of Georgia and a member of The Episcopal Church — a community known for open hearts and minds, vibrant and ancient worship, and a love of discovering the holy in everyday life. At St. Thomas’, our worship is both historic and alive, prayerful and joy-filled, rooted in tradition yet deeply relevant today.
Our church home has stood in the beautiful Isle of Hope community of Savannah since 1922. While we lovingly preserve our historic buildings, we are also a growing and forward-looking parish, seeking meaningful ways to live out our faith in today’s world.
The people of St. Thomas’ are warm, joyful, and welcoming. We celebrate together, care for one another, and are committed to making a difference in Savannah and beyond. When you visit, we invite you to fill out a visitor’s card and introduce yourself — we’d love to welcome you personally and offer you a small gift of hospitality.
Wherever you are on your faith journey, you are welcome here. We invite you to join us, worship with us, and discover the love and fellowship of St. Thomas’.
Our Services
On Sunday mornings, we have three services:
8:00 am in the chapel, where we use Rite I liturgy from the Book of Common Prayer.
10:00 am in the church where we use the Rite II liturgy. Hymns are sung accompanied by our organ and choir. During the school year, we have "Children's Chapel" for youth aged 3-5th grade, at the beginning of the service. During the procession, the children follow the children's cross out of the church into the Christian Education Building and return at the peace. There is also a fully-staffed nursery available.
11:30 am in the chapel, where we use Rite II liturgy.
On Wednesdays at 11:30, we have a Service of Healing with Holy Eucharist in the chapel.
