    St. Martha’s Guild

The mission of St. Martha’s Guild, a member of the Episcopal Church Women, is to empower women to do Christ’s work.  All women of St. Thomas are members of the St. Martha’s ECW.  If you would like to get involved in any or all of these areas, please contact Tracy Edgar at 658-9868, tbe1414@aol.com, or Stacie Bacon @ 220-648, staciebacon@att.net, or Andrea Epting @ 507-8576, ame11480@bellsouth.net

We usually meet one Monday evening a month at 7:00 pm and the dates are posted on the calendar in the Evangel Lite.

Through the efforts of  The Isle of Hope Christmas Tour and other fundraisers, St. Martha’s  provides financial assistance to organizations that benefit the well being of  women and children.

     Isle of Hope Christmas:

We host a Christmas tour in December every other year.  This year, 2011, will be our 10th Isle of Hope Christmas Tour. Proceeds from the tour have benefited local children’s charities such as  Greenbriar Children’s Home; Interfaith Hospitality Network; Safe Shelter; Second Harvest Kid’s Café; and Sneakers for Success.

     Wednesday Night Suppers :

The St. Martha’s cooking team continues to cook Wednesday Night Suppers on the second Wednesday of each month.

     Parish Receptions :

St. Martha’s  ECW hosts several parish receptions throughout the year.

    Interfaith Hospitality.

We host and provide meals for families three times a year.
