Outreach

We Take Outreach Seriously...

“…for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me.”                (Matthew 23:35)

Our work at St. Thomas is to be Christ followers, as we seek to serve others in Jesus’ Name. There are many outreach efforts we have chosen in order to serve the elderly, the children, the sick, and the widowed of our community.

In 2006, St. Thomas gave away approximately $54,000.00 in Outreach, with an additional $35,000.00 distributed as “in-kind” contributions.

Most of our members volunteer at community agencies of their choice as witness to faithful giving, as well as actively participating in one or more of the numerous outreach ministries established here at St. Thomas.

Each of us has been called by God to a particular servant ministry, and there is a place at St. Thomas for YOU to discern and answer your call to ministry.
